Wakefit.co launches India’s first AI-powered sleep solutions
Sleep and home solutions startup Wakefit.co, on Wednesday, announced the launch of its new Wakefit Zense range, marking the introduction of India’s first-ever AI-driven sleep solutions. This range features two products — Regul8 and Track8 — aimed at improving sleep quality and sleep tracking.

Regul8

Regul8 is a mattress temperature controller that allows users to manually adjust temperatures between 15 degrees and 40 degrees or select from five presets —Neutral, Cold, Warm, Ice, and Fire. Temperatures can be separately set for each side of the bed so partners can independently set their preferred temperature without compromise.

The device is also said to have smart sleep control, which automatically adjusts temperatures based on sleep duration and the latest sleep research insights. Furthermore, Regul8 is energy-efficient, claiming to be 60% more efficient than a 1.5-ton air conditioner.

Track8

Track8 offers a non-wearable, contactless sleep-tracking solution. Placing a discreet sensor sheet under the mattress is said to provide a comprehensive analysis of the user's sleep patterns.

It has dual sensors that enable partners to track their sleep independently. Integrated with advanced AI and machine learning algorithms, Track8 can deliver detailed reports on sleep stages, respiratory rate, snoring, movement, and overall sleep quality, alongside an aggregated sleep score.

Both the products and their insights can be tracked from the companion app called Wakefit Zense.

Ankit Garg, CEO and Co-founder of Wakefit.co, expressed his excitement: “With the Zense range, we step into new terrain with AI-powered sleep solutions, addressing the consistent lack of sleep reported in our Great Indian Sleep Scorecard (GISS). We are confident that these innovations will significantly improve sleep quality across the country.”

Currently, the Wakefit Zense range is only available for pre-booking — ₹499 for each product or ₹899 for both. The company has not yet set a date for when the devices will be available. Users who pre-book the device will only have to make the full payment once the devices are ready to be shipped.

Track8 is priced at ₹10,499 and Regul8 is priced at 44,999.

Although this technology is new to India, it has been available for some time. An American sleep fitness company called Eight Sleep was the first to introduce its smart mattress/mattress covers or "Pods" that can both regulate temperature and track sleep. Initially available only in the US, the company has now expanded to some regions in Europe as well.
