Adidas remains committed to its strategic expansion in India, prioritising consumer-centric retail strategies tailored to local preferences. Its partnership with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) as the official kit and jersey sponsor underscores its dedication to tapping into India's passion for cricket.



By heavily investing in cricket and promoting a culture of sporting pride through jerseys, Adidas aims to bolster both its own position in the Indian market and India's prominence on the global sports stage. The unveiling of the new Team India jersey further solidifies Adidas' support for athletes in the country.

Discussing further Adidas’ plan, Singh said, “While T20 is a major milestone, but we have to look at cricket from a long-term perspective. Cricket is not only a sport but it’s an emotion, it’s a platform, you tend to reach deep into India through cricket both from viewership perspective, also through a product perspective.”
