SBI General Insurance has made the decision to discontinue its Arogya Plus policy, effective October 5, 2024. This move is part of the company's strategy to continually refine its offerings to meet the evolving needs of its customers, SBI General Insurance said in a statement.
Policyholders currently enrolled in the Arogya Plus Policy will have the option to transition to the comprehensive Super Health Insurance policy or any other individual health insurance product offered by SBI General Insurance, including standard products.
The Super Health Insurance policy addresses various healthcare requirements and alleviates the financial burdens associated with medical expenses.
"Notable features of this policy include coverage for all daycare procedures/surgeries, preventive health check-ups, claims shield, coverage for non-medical expenses such as gloves and attendant charges, as well as the Reinsure benefit, which offers unlimited refills of the sum insured at no extra cost," the insurance company said.
This product is designed to provide comprehensive healthcare coverage at affordable rates.
In adherence to regulatory guidelines, SBI General Insurance will notify its customers 90 days in advance of the policy withdrawal, providing them with the option to migrate to the Super Health Insurance policy or any other individual health insurance product.
