PM Modi Oath Taking Ceremony: Prime Minister Narendra Modi took oath as the Prime Minister of India for the historic third consecutive term on Sunday, June 9. President Draupadi Murmu administered oath to Narendra Modi along with other BJP leaders including Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Shivraj Singh Chauhan, JP Nadda, and others as Union Cabinet Ministers of Modi 3.0 government.
Over 10,000 guests were present at the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan, including the top industrialists, actors, BJP leaders, allies, and leaders from the opposition party.
In a historic first, the invitees also included sanitation workers, construction workers who worked for the Central Vista project and transgender community members.
The National Democratic Alliance (NDA), under Narendra Modi's leadership, crossed the majority mark in Lok Sabha Election 2024 results declaration, confirming Modi's return as PM for the third term.
