In an incident, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Hyderabad, Madhavi Latha was spotted checking the voter ID cards of a few women at a polling booth on Monday. Following this, a case was registered against her at the Malakpet Police Station under Sections 171C, 186, 505(1)(c) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Section 132 the Representation of the People Act.
