
The fifth phase of the Lok Sabha elections commenced on Monday, May 20, 2024. Voters from various regions across India stepped out to exercise their democratic rights.

Mahindra and Mahindra Anand Mahindra, Chairperson of Mahindra and Mahindra, also participated in the voting process. In a tweet, he said, “The privilege of deciding who will govern us… It’s a blessing. Never turn your back on a blessing…”

Reserve Bank of India Governor: Shaktikanta Das, the Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, also cast his vote during this phase in Mumbai. He proudly displayed his inked finger, signifying his participation.

Corporate Sector Votes: Natarajan Chandrasekaran, the Chairman of Tata Sons, cast his vote in Mumbai.

Serum Institute of India Adar Poonawalla, CEO of the Serum Institute of India, cast his vote. He, in a tweet, said, “Today, I cast my vote as a proud citizen of this great nation. I urge all those eligible to do the same and exercise your democratic right and responsibility for India's growth and future.”

NSE CEO: Ashish Chauhan, CEO of the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), and former CEO of BSE, was among the voters.

Tata Sons Emeritus Ratan Tata, Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons, also participated in the voting process.
