The BJP successfully fended off anti-incumbency and the challenge posed by the AAP-Congress combine to register a hat-trick in Delhi by winning all the seven Lok Sabha seats.

South Delhi | South Delhi candidate Ramvir Singh Bidhuri defeated AAP’s Sahi Ram by a margin of 1,24,333 votes. Bidhuri got a total of 6,92,832 votes.

A total of 162 candidates were in the fray for the May 25 Lok Sabha polls in Delhi with the maximum contesting from the North East Delhi constituency, according to official data.

Around 21 to 28 rounds of counting will take place to count a total of 89,21,495 votes that were cast by 58.69% of electorates, which includes 59.03% men, 58.29% women and 28.01 third-gender individuals. (Image: PTI)

The counting is expected to be completed sooner in the New Delhi constituency where only 8,45,285 votes were cast. The northeast Delhi constituency may take more time in the counting of votes as it recorded the highest number of voter turnout with 15,49,202 votes. (Image: PTI)

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to win all seven seats in the national capital, as per the News18 Poll Hub Mega Exit Poll for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. As per the polls, the NDA alliance might secure 5-7 seats, the I.N.D.I.A. bloc, meanwhile, is likely to secure 0-2 seats only. (Image: PTI)
