WWDC 2024: Apple announces visionOS 2, brings Vision Pro to 8 more countries

Apple Vision Pro will be available for pre-order in China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore on June 14, and in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and the UK on June 28. The device offers advanced spatial computing features powered by visionOS.

Apple has announced that its spatial computing device, Apple Vision Pro, will be available for pre-order in new countries and regions starting June 14 and will be generally available beginning June 28.

Customers in mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore can pre-order the Apple Vision Pro on June 14, with availability starting June 28. Following this, customers in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom can pre-order the device on June 28, with availability beginning on July 12.

Apple Vision Pro, powered by visionOS, is designed to seamlessly blend digital content with the physical world, offering powerful spatial experiences that transform work, collaboration, entertainment, and more. "The enthusiasm for Apple Vision Pro has been extraordinary, and we are thrilled to introduce the magic of spatial computing to more customers around the world," said Tim Cook, Apple's CEO.

With the release of visionOS 2 later this year, Apple Vision Pro users will gain access to additional features, including 3D photo memories, enhanced hand gestures, and new capabilities for Mac Virtual Display and Travel Mode.

The App Store now features over 2,000 apps designed specifically for Apple Vision Pro and more than 1.5 million compatible iOS and iPadOS apps. Developers worldwide are launching new apps and games, including popular titles in China, Japan, Singapore, and other regions.
