Mark your calendars as the most awaited web series, Kota Factor Season 3, is all set to return. Tracing the IIT aspirants’ chaotic journey alongside their trusted mentor Jeetu Bhaiya, the show will soon be available for streaming on Netflix from June 20. Announcing the release date on Friday, the makers released a poster featuring Jitendra Kumar and other prominent members of the cast.

As the black-and-white series returns for a fresh season, viewers can anticipate a new mentor being introduced at Aimers. Besides the profound wisdom, long-lasting bonds and heartwarming group hugs for which the franchise is popular among youth will also return to our screens.

Further, the new season will showcase students inching towards adulthood, grappling with fears and aspirations ahead of the final examination. Meanwhile, fan-favourite Jeetu Bhaiya will be seen navigating through the challenges following the tragic cliffhanger from Season 2.

While Jitendra Kumar, Mayur More, Ranjan Raj, Alam Khan, Revathi Pillai, Ahsaas Channa, and Rajesh Kumar will reprise their roles in Season 3 of the series, Tillotama Shome will be joining them as the new Chemistry teacher, adding to the already high excitement.

On Thursday, the OTT giant teased the fans with an announcement video of the series. In the clip, we see Jitendra asking the audience to solve a math problem to arrive at the exact release date. Fans were quick enough to decode the problem.

However, a section of people also came up with the wrong answers as they thought the release date was either June 15 or June 28. Those who failed to crack the equation were questioned by the other users with one of them even asking, “Those answering anything other than 20 June, were you/are you even an IIT aspirant ever?”

Created by Saurabh Khanna and directed by Raghav Subbu, the series got its backing from producer Arunabh Kumar. The aspirational drama revolves around Vaibhav (Mayur More), a 16-year-old IIT aspirant preparing for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) at a coaching centre in Kota, Rajasthan.

The first season of the series premiered in 2019, garnering love and appreciation like never before. Given the response, it was picked up by Netflix India for its season 2 in 2021.

Besides Kota Factory Season 3, TVF also offered the new instalment of one of its flagship shows, Panchayat. Released on May 28, the show is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
