Here are some essential tips for maintaining menstrual hygiene:

Clean sanitary products: Use clean and high-quality hygienic products like pads, tampons, or menstrual cups and change them regularly to avoid infections.

Sanitary pads: Change your pads every few hours to avoid infection, regardless of how little flow there is. In cases of heavy flow, change them more often.

Tampons: Do not use a tampon for a long period. Change them every 4 to 8 hours.

Maintain good hygiene: Wash the genital area with clean water daily to prevent infection.

Avoid vaginal hygiene products: Do not use any soap, scented products, or harsh chemicals for cleaning.

Discard used products: Wrap used sanitary products in paper or a disposal bag before discarding them in a bin.

Avoid flushing them down the toilet.

Wear breathable clothing: Choose cotton underwear to allow air circulation and reduce moisture.

Stay hydrated: Drink enough liquid that helps wash out the urinary tract and supports overall health.

Spread awareness: Promote open discussions about menstrual hygiene to reduce stigma. Ensure everyone has access to the necessary information and resources.
